St. Mary's Montessori Nursery - Garden Room Fully Grown |

St. Mary's Montessori Nursery were the proud owners of a new log cabin back in 2003, so when they decided to invest in an extension and Garden Room. After successfully putting together a design, the nursery was given a local authority grant.
Rural Log Cabins quoted for the construction along with three other contractors and after consideration was awarded the contract. Proprietor Sue Ensor-Keen commented "It was satisfying to award the contract to the most competitive price but also to a trusted previous Timber Cabin builder" |

The lower garden section was already used as a play area, designed by the children themselves with food being the overall theme. The upper section of the garden originally housed a lawn, some storage sheds and a small outbuilding, this area was chosen for the exciting new building.
The Garden Room provides much needed storage space (in the upper floor space) but more importantly, high quality space for the children. The project has many facets and Rural Log Cabins provides a full turnkey service from the site clearance to the final cabin hand over including structural calculations, building regulations, inspections and approval and fire regulations compliance. |

Sue Ensor-Keen commented "Rural Log Cabins have been really professional and responded quickly to all of our requests for prices, information and design. They started work on site very soon after the grant was confirmed and have kept us informed of all the important day to day issues as the project has progressed to the completed Garden Room."
Sue added "We could see that they enjoyed working alongside the staff and children, that everyone has a keen interest with the progression of the cabin. Rural Log Cabins appointed one of our senior and most interested boys as an honorary Clerk of Works boy which made the children feel even closer to the project, the staff have been waiting for this for some time and are excited about using this fantastic new log garden room." |
